It was 2002. Steve and Patricia Meadows had opened ERA Graceland Real Estate, a firm they would grow into one of Waco’s largest and most respected. From 2 agents to over 20, and a member of ERA’s Top 100 performing Brokerages in America (out of over 2,500 offices). All in less than 7 years.

They named the real estate agency “Graceland” after their daughter Grace. Then, as now, there would be a dedication to treating customers, both sellers and buyers, like their own family. It turns out that customers definitely appreciate that special touch.

Today, ERA Graceland has a similar feel, a touch of that original family, plus one more: the Coopers. Bart Cooper and his son Alan purchased ERA Graceland in May 2009. Their first priority: Retain the couple that built the firm into one of Waco’s most successful real estate firms. Steve and Patricia continue in leadership positions, joined by the Coopers.

A 2003 graduate of the Citadel, one of America’s premiere military institutes, Alan Cooper developed a deep commitment to customer service as sales manager at a car dealership in West Texas.
